Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

These terms and conditions govern your use of Solvr's services. By engaging Solvr or making payment for any service, you agree to these terms. Solvr is operated as a sole trader in New Zealand. These terms are governed by New Zealand law.

1. About Solvr

Solvr is a digital marketing and automation service for trades and home service businesses, operated as a sole trader based in New Zealand. Contact: hello@solvr.co.nz.

2. Services

Solvr provides fully managed automation services including, but not limited to:

The specific services provided to you are those agreed upon in writing (including by email) at the time of engagement. Solvr reserves the right to modify, expand, or discontinue any service offering with reasonable notice.

All services are delivered using Solvr's own technology platform and third-party software. The specific tools and platforms used are considered proprietary business information and are not disclosed to clients. Clients are not granted access to the underlying platforms.

3. Pricing and Payment

Solvr's current service fees are displayed on the Solvr website (solvr.co.nz) at the time of engagement. Prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellation

Services operate on a rolling monthly basis with no minimum contract period. Either party may cancel at any time with 30 days written notice.

To cancel your service, send written notice to hello@solvr.co.nz. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the 30-day notice period. You will be responsible for any fees due up to and including the final day of service. No refunds are issued for the current billing period.

Where payment is collected via an automated billing platform, you should also cancel your subscription directly through that platform to avoid further charges after the notice period ends. Solvr will confirm in writing once your service has been deactivated.

Solvr may terminate services immediately and without refund if:

5. Free Trial

Where a free trial is offered, it applies to the Tier 1 Missed Call Text-Back service only. The trial period is 14 days from the date the service goes live. No setup fee is charged during the free trial.

To access the free trial, you will be required to provide valid payment details upfront. Your card will not be charged during the 14-day trial period. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to the applicable monthly plan and your card will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.

To cancel before being charged, notify Solvr in writing at hello@solvr.co.nz before the trial period expires. Once the trial converts to a paid subscription, the standard 30-day cancellation notice applies.

6. Phone Numbers

Important: Phone numbers provisioned as part of Solvr's service are registered to Solvr's platform account. These numbers are not owned by the client and will not automatically transfer to you if your service ends. Solvr will inform you of this at the time of onboarding.

In some cases, number porting (transferring the number to your own account) may be possible. This is not guaranteed and may incur additional costs. If you wish to explore number porting, contact Solvr before ending your service.

Solvr recommends that you inform your customers of the business number used for text communications, so they can save it in their contacts.

7. Your Responsibilities

To enable Solvr to deliver services effectively, you agree to:

8. Results and Guarantees

Solvr provides automation systems and services designed to improve lead capture and follow-up. However, Solvr does not guarantee specific outcomes including, but not limited to, a specific number of leads, jobs booked, or revenue generated.

Results depend on factors outside Solvr's control, including the volume of inbound calls, the quality of leads, market conditions, and how promptly you follow up with leads the system captures.

Solvr will make reasonable efforts to ensure all systems are functioning correctly and will address technical issues promptly upon notification.

9. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the course of the engagement. Solvr will not disclose your business information, client data, or performance data to third parties except as required to deliver the contracted services or as required by law.

You agree not to reverse-engineer, replicate, or share information about Solvr's systems, workflows, or platform setup with third parties.

10. Intellectual Property

All systems, workflows, automations, templates, and configurations built by Solvr remain the intellectual property of Solvr. Upon ending your service, Solvr's systems will be deactivated and access will be removed. Any written content (SMS templates, email sequences) created specifically for your business remains yours to use.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Solvr's total liability to you in connection with the services provided under these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Solvr in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Solvr is not liable for:

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986 where applicable.

12. Consumer Guarantees Act

Where services are supplied to a person acquiring them for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply to the extent permitted by section 2(2) of that Act. If you are engaging Solvr for business purposes, you acknowledge this exclusion.

13. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises in connection with these terms or Solvr's services, both parties agree to make a genuine effort to resolve it through direct communication before pursuing any formal legal process. Contact Solvr at hello@solvr.co.nz to raise a concern. We will acknowledge your concern within 3 business days and work towards a resolution within 14 business days.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes that cannot be resolved by agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

Solvr may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. Where changes are material, Solvr will provide at least 14 days notice by email.
