Solvr is a digital marketing and automation service for trades and home service businesses, operated as a sole trader based in New Zealand. You can contact us at hello@solvr.co.nz.

Information We Collect

We collect personal information in the following ways:

• Contact information — your name, phone number, email address, and business name when you book a call, fill in a contact form, or sign up for our services.
• Business information — details about your trade, service area, average job value, and existing tools, collected during the onboarding process to configure your automation system.
• Communications — records of messages, emails, and calls between us for the purpose of providing and improving our services.
• Usage data — basic website analytics such as page views, session duration, and referral source, collected via third-party analytics tools.
• Lead data (for clients) — when we operate automation systems on your behalf, we process personal information about your customers (names, phone numbers, email addresses) solely for the purpose of delivering your contracted service.

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

• Set up and manage the automation services you have contracted us to deliver
• Communicate with you about your service, invoices, and reporting
• Respond to enquiries made through our website or contact channels
• Improve our services and website experience
• Meet our legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Tools and Platforms

To deliver our services, we use third-party software platforms. These platforms may process your personal information or your customers' personal information as part of service delivery. The platforms we use include:

• Our automation platform — we use a business automation and CRM platform to power missed call text-back, lead capture, AI responses, and review automation on your behalf.
• Calendly — used for booking discovery calls. Calendly's own privacy policy applies when you use their booking page.
• Reporting tools — used to produce monthly client reports.
• Google — we may access your Google Business Profile on your behalf to manage your listing. Google's privacy policy applies.

We take reasonable steps to ensure these platforms maintain appropriate data security standards.

Phone Numbers and SMS

As part of our service, we provision a dedicated phone number on your behalf. This number is used to send and receive SMS messages and calls as part of your automation system. Please note that this phone number is registered to Solvr's platform account, not to you personally. If your service with Solvr ends, this number remains with Solvr's account. We will inform you of this at the time of onboarding.

SMS messages sent through our system to your customers will include your business name and are sent on your behalf. Recipients may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as you are a client of Solvr and for a reasonable period after the end of your service to meet legal, tax, and business record-keeping requirements. Lead and customer data processed on your behalf will be deleted or returned to you within 30 days of your service ending, upon written request.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, or modification. Our automation platform uses industry-standard encryption and access controls. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights Under the NZ Privacy Act 2020

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:

• Ask whether we hold personal information about you
• Request access to your personal information
• Request correction of your personal information if it is inaccurate
• Complain to the Privacy Commissioner if you believe we have breached the Act
